The Ivory Fellowship in Housing Affordability and Sustainability

Offered through the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, the Ivory Fellowship in Housing Affordability and Sustainability gives students from any of Harvard's schools the opportunity to spend the summer working on issues related to affordable and sustainable housing at for-profit companies, non-profit organizations, or public-sector entities in the United States.

The Student Associate Program

The Student Associate Program gives University of Utah students the opportunity to work alongside Ivory Innovations staff as the team sources, evaluates, and supports the most innovative housing affordability solutions from across the country.

After the academic year concludes, student associates have the opportunity to embed directly within Ivory Prize winner and finalist organizations as sponsored interns, kickstarting their careers in housing innovation. Host organizations have included:

Hack-A-House

This annual 24-hour pitch competition challenges university students nationwide to formulate and pitch innovative housing affordability solutions. Participants collaborate with industry experts and pitch their ideas either individually or with a team for a chance to win cash and compete for the Grand Prize at the annual Ivory Prize Summit. This event is held virtually, with optional in-person programming at the University of Utah. It is open to both undergraduate and graduate students from any discipline and any university.
